Hi there! My name is Josie, I was living with a family who put me in the backyard and pretty much forgot about me. I would get so excited when I would hear the back door open but my excitement was always short lived. They would drop food in my feeder and slam the door shut. I would sit outside the door and lookin inside that the family watching tv or doing whatever it is they do, but I would never let it get me down because I knew that one day I would be an inside dog. This past spring, my family stopped feeding and giving me fresh water all together. I was so hungry and the only water I drank was from mud puddles when it rained. One day, I was determiend to escape and duga big hole under the fence and found myself in the enighbors yard. I was sniffing around this new yard when the door opened and out walked the people that saved my life. The next thing I knew I had all the water I could drink, food twice a day, treats, and a comfy bed inside. My favorite game is fetch and I know how to sit on command.
