American Staffordshire Terrier - Simon - Medium - Young - Male
Simon was taken to a local emergency clinic. A young couple on a 4 wheeler found him in the Covington pike bottoms - where people often go mudding after it rains - and brought him in. He couldn't walk when they rescued him. They stayed with him a while because they were afraid of him being put down. This is when we stepped in When the vet tech put down a bowl of food a few feet away he did get to his feet and stumble over so he was able to walk. We are assuming the wounds on his side are either a chemical burn or road rash. They have all healed now and the fur is beginning to grow back in. Simon had surgery on one of his knee caps to keep it from constantly popping in and out of place and is recovering very nicely. Simon is a sweet boy who just wants to be close to humans! He is eager to please and give sweet kisses! Adoption fee and vet references required.
